Pinterest's "New Look"

Despite weeks of time to adjust, my family and I have had a great deal of difficulty with actually looking though the pins one by one since the new look came to pass.  The Polaroid-esque frames that pins used to be embellished with not only added a cohesive, vintage, photo-gallery feel, but also seemed to really aid in the tracking of the eye going down a board.  Boards now seem chaotic, obnoxious, noisy, and are downright unpleasant and a chore to scroll through.

I really miss the ability to open the "repin" button into another tab, for both easy pinning and deletion.  As it is now, where the pin's menu pops up directly in front of the board for alteration, one has to wait for each pin to load one by one.  Whereas, when we had the ability to open the "edit" or "repin" menu into another tab, we could collect many pins in many tabs, and then pin/delete them all in one fell swoop.  Much faster and more enjoyable.

We truly hoped the new look would better or at least streamline the Pinterest experience, but after weeks of trying to adjust, it seems most if not all of the changes have taken away effectiveness and enjoyability.

     I miss the old look.
